Hi I'm John Dexter Ordejan

I am serving in the Philippines Angeles Mission, I'm an Asian/Filipino, a High school graduate and I'm proud to be a Mormon! :)

About Me

I'm a technology geek type of person, I love lot of things. I love gadgets, I love Violins, I love eye glasses, I love Music, I love watches, and of course, my Family & Friends. . But seriously , I love the outdoors. hiking, camping, and exploring are atop my list! I love Music, Art, and watching Anime's. I'm an explorer. I am now serving a Full Time Mission in Philippines Angeles Mission (December 5 2014-2016)

Why I am a Mormon

Im from a complicated kind of family, Im seeking for the Love of my family, seeking for respect from others, and Im also seeking for the Words of God. when I got baptized, all of the things I was seeking for, has been filled up. the members and the leaders of this church treated me as a family, I gained respect from others, and I've learned so many things about our Heavenly Father, and about Jesus Christ. that's why Im very thankful for being a mormon.

How I live my faith

My family are all members of the Church 7 of them we're not active members including my mom and dad, Me and my two younger sisters are the active members in our Family. I am a convert. I was baptized last June 9, 2013, it's because of my Auntie from U.S. she lives in Tucson Arizona, and last year, she went on a vacation here in the Philippines and referred me and my two younger sisters to the missionaries that's the story of my conversion. I started working with the missionaries since September, and from that month I've been working with them almost everyday. I know that this Gospel is true. I have a testimony that this is the true Gospel of Jesus Christ, In my past life I always feel lost, like I'm walking alone in the darkness, as if God has forgotten me. but all of those negative feelings that I've felt was changed by the Gospel. I now truly feel that God loves me, I know it so strongly now. I've been blessed so many times after receiving the Gospel. and I am happy to share my testimony with you and to all the people that God prepared for me.

Who was Joseph Smith?

John Dexter Ordejan
Joseph Smith Jr. was born in 1805 in Sharon, Windsor County, Vermont, to Joseph and Lucy Mack Smith. He had 10 brothers and sisters. His parents taught him to pray, read the Bible, and to have faith in God. At age 14, as an answer to fervent prayer, Joseph saw God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, in his First Vision. At age 17, Joseph began to receive heavenly messengers who prepared him for his role in the Restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ to the earth. He was a prophet, just like Moses, Isaiah and others in biblical times. He was strengthened by God to fulfill His mission much as was Jeremiah who said, “Ah Lord God! Behold I cannot speak: for I am a child. But the Lord said unto me, Say not I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak” (Jeremiah 1:6-7) Show more Show less
