Hi I'm Joel

I'm from Idaho. I enjoy living. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy life, whatever it is in the moment. My family makes it better; there's four siblings, including myself, and as we've grown up, we've welcomed in three nephews already. Family is our refuge and the base of all that we are and achieve. I love sports and the outdoors, but not enough to consider myself a fanatic. I have a special ear for music; I couldn't say what my favorite artist or genre is completely, but I do know good music when I hear it. Videogames are fun to play but haven't taken over my life. I'll be soon starting the college life, and trying to make my life something worthwhile. It's an exciting change; I'm looking forward to it.

Why I am a Mormon

I realize that although the members of this church will always be flawed, the gospel that Jesus Christ has restored through a prophet of God to guide all of us, His children, is perfect, and provides the path to return to Him. As I've lived the gospel obediently and diligently, I've felt heart-changing modifications in my life and I've become more like our Savior. I have felt His redeeming love and I've received witness that this church has His authorization to act in His holy name, and I know that it's the way that we can receive a remission of sins. I feel His great love for me and for others as I serve Him, and that's why I continue fighting, even when it's easy to live in the world.

How I live my faith

I recently returned from my two-year mission service in the Dominican Republic. I prayed and fasted as we went out daily to find those who were ready to accept all of the blessings of the gospel. We helped people to understand the many blessings that they can receive through obedience to God's laws, and we saw miracles and life-changing experiences as they experimented upon the word.

How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?

Joel
The representatives of the our church are able and willing to share this glad message of the gospel of Jesus Christ with you at your convenience. It's a great blessing to not only listen to their message, but also act upon it and watch as the Lord blesses us for every commandment that you learn and live. Show more Show less
