Hi I'm Jennica

I grew up in Utah. I love the outdoors. I love my Family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being active. I enjoy hiking, rock climbing, camping, snow skiing, water sports, lacrosse and much more. I love spending time with the people I love especially my family. I have a mom and a dad who love the gospel and have been members their whole lives. I also have 3 brothers, 2 older and one younger. I love the gospel and I know that it brings true happiness. That is one reason why I decided to serve a full-time mission! I am now serving in the Tennessee, Nashville mission and its the best decision I have ever made! I love sharing the gospel and teaching others how to come closer to Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always grown up in the Church. My parents are both members and so are their parents. When I was in high school I felt really lost and didn't know what I was missing. I then realized that I hadn't figured out for myself if this church was the true church. I didn't have my own testimony. So I decided to pray and find out for myself. I remember the day when I found out that this is the true church of Christ that has been restored on this earth today. That was when I knew and had a testimony that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was the true church. I know that Joseph Smith was called to be a prophet and restored the Church on the earth today. I am a Mormon because I know that without this gospel I would not be happy. The church doesn't take away the trials in life, but I know that it helps us push through them and brings us true happiness.

How I live my faith

I am a daughter of God and I know that he loves me. I know that through keeping the commandments and being an example to others has helped me grow and helped others come unto Christ. I had the amazing opportunity to serve as a youth counselor in the special needs mutual program for two years (junior and senior year of high school). That calling really showed me the love that our Heavenly Father has for us. You can see the light of Christ in their eyes and they love you no matter what. They can tell when you are sad and you need to be comforted , they can tell when you had a bad day and you just need someone to make you laugh. They showed me the love that Heavenly Father has for each and everyone of us and I know that I am a daughter of God. I am currently serving a full-time mission in Tennessee, Nashville. I know that when we serve others, we are in the service of our God. I know that giving up a year and a half is nothing compared to what Heavenly Father has done for me. I love this Gospel and it brings me true happiness and I love sharing that with others.
