Hi I'm Stuart Johnson

I live in Arizona. I coach Football at a local high school. And I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm currently preparing to go on my mission. Until I leave I am working and also coaching freshman football at a local high school. The school happens to be one that i played at and am grateful to be able to continue being a student of the sport and influencing kids to be grow into young men.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it's what i need in life. Growing up as a Mormon I took it all for granted for the longest time. Then a few years ago I realized I needed to find out for myself whether or not the church was true. And later after searching for answers I realized I had the answer the entire time. That the church was true and that I needed it. And everyday i realized it, whether i live according to the gospel or the occasional slip up. The greatest thing that I have learned and took a while to understand was that the gospel is not something that you can set a weekly or a monthly goal to. It's something that you need to work at daily, every day is different and you can't approach it the same as the day before. It's what I need as my daily reminder that I am a Son of a Righteous God, and that I should not feel discouraged when ever something goes wrong because Christ and God will always be there for me. I have also realized that not a lot of people realize this and that I want to share this message and the entire message of our Savior Jesus Christ to as many people as i can. That is why I desire to serve a mission because I know that there is one person out there that needs to hear the gospel of Christ through me and i can't wait to meet them.

How I live my faith

I'm currently in a local singles ward where i'm am one of the supervisors for the home teaching of several of the men in my ward. I am responsible to making sure that the members are home taught and are all doing well and if any of them need any help from any members of the ward. I am also part of the missionary committee where I try to meet with any of the investigators that come by. As well as trying to get to know the members better.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Stuart Johnson
I think parents and more importantly the family as a whole are some of the greatest gifts God has given us. The best memories are with my family and I always feel welcomed. I never have to worry about being left out or anything. They teach me who I should be and the life that I want to live. Show more Show less
