Hi I'm Mykelle

Born & raised in Ogden, Utah. I'm the youngest of 8 brothers & sisters, I enjoy my 24 nieces & nephews:) I'm a Mormon!

About Me

HI! I go by Kelle :) I love to read and do anything out doors - (biking, hiking, boating, skiing, swimming...you name it!) I'm a full time working-nursing student :) I love to paint my nails and spend time with my family. I play the piano and like to do crafts in my spare time. Although I'm not married and don't have any kids yet, I certainly hope that opportunity is somewhere in the near future :) I enjoy my job at the hospital and feel that I am happiest when I am serving others.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the way it makes me feel. Nothing else in this world can bring me more happiness and joy. We are not talking about fake, shallow, short lived happiness here, that things of the world bring us, but leave us feeling empty inside... No this is happiness that fills your whole soul with joy, peace, confidence and contentment in a way that is too glorious to put into word, it can only be felt through the spirit. It gives my life full purpose and direction. I know that this happiness comes only through living the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our father in heaven does not expect us to be perfect. That is what I love so much about this church! it is about constant progression, not immediate perfection. Every soul is great in the eyes of God! no matter what we have done, where we are in life, it does not matter... because the true gospel of Jesus Christ is for EVERYONE. As long as we have a good attitude and try, Christ is there to make up for the rest, he is there to take upon him our burdens when we feel there is nothing more we can give. Through reading the book of Mormon and many hours on my knees, I have come to know of the truthfulness of this gospel for myself, and it is the most amazing thing in the world :)

How I live my faith

I am active in the "linger-longer, meet-and-greet" comity at my singles/collage ward! we gather after church and share food, friends, and lots of fun! while inviting the spirit as well :) it gives people an opportunity to meet others and make new friends! Through my job working at the hospital and choice of nursing education, I feel I'm able to participate in many opportunities to help my community and those around me that I wouldn't have other wise. Getting the opportunity to serve others and make a difference in someones life is hardly a job at all :)

What is being a Mormon like?

Being a Mormon, to some people, may seem restrictive and boring. What people often times don't understand is that being a Mormon gives you more choices and options in life than anything else, and above all it gives you happiness. If you are used to a different lifestyle, then being a Mormon can be somewhat of a large change to your life, but it is every bit worth it. Being a Mormon gives you purpose and direction to life. It gives you the desire to make the best of yourself, your life, the lives of those you care about, and those you may not even know. . . Being a Mormon gives you a second chance. Show more Show less
