Hi I'm Eden

I grew up in the beautiful state of Oregon. I love sports and being with my family and friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a very open and outgoing woman who enjoys helping others and making people happy. My family is large and I love it. I am athletic and very hard working. In my free time i volunteer at an animal shelter, go to church events, hang with family and friends and play sports. I did gymnastics and participated in varsity cheerleading for all four years in high school. From doing so i became very outgoing and a big people person. I also have been playing the violin since the fourth grade and am currently learning to play the piano. People I know say that I am a funny girl with a contagious personality that attracts others to come to me. I'm a person who strives to do my best without getting big headed or too depressed over things that go my way or don't work out to my favor. I try my best to be a good example to others and to enjoy life no matter what is happening. I am a daughter of God and am so blessed to be where I am and who I am today.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of the church and grew up in and out of being an active member and inactive. I used to only go because my parents made me but once I was able to take myself I decided not to because it wasn't fun for me. When I was 19 years old I got randomly invited to go to girls camp to be a lifeguard. From when I was younger I remembered how much fun it was and how delicious the food was. I ended up going and having a good time. During the week we had a testimony meeting after a very spiritual evening and I didn't expect anything from it but I got ended up getting everything I needed. It was like my eyes were closed and I just opened them. The spirit was so strong from the very beginning and continued well past the end. I never knew how much I affected others and that people looked up to me. Girls age 12-18 went up one by one baring their testimony of God and how amazing camp was. How camp made them realize the truth of the church and that thanks to people there like me their testimonies came to be and that the church was true. You could see the light in their eyes and the eternal happiness that they have finally found. That is when I knew I was in the right place at the right time. I cried and prayed like I've never done before. After that day I knew that this church is true and that this is the place needed to be and at this very time. That very moment I knew I wanted to serve a full time mission and help others get that light in their eyes and to come unto Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church and almost every church event. I am currently the Relief Society President of our singles branch and am a teacher for Sunday school. Everyday I live my life trying to be the best example I can and live according to our church standards. I am not shy that I am Mormon and people respect me and how I live my life.
