Hi I'm Kendall Willardson

Born in California and living in Utah, I enjoy singing and learning everything. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Living in a small rural town in Utah can be difficult sometimes. Especially coming from the cities of California. This doesn't mean it can't be fun though! At my school we are given so many activities to do. Over my high school career I have done drama, musicals, business clubs, debate, cross country, and piano. I love to hike and bike around my house, and learning is my passion. I will be heading to Brigham Young University after serving a mission in Denmark.

Why I am a Mormon

The assumption many people make about life-long members, like me, is we keep with the religion because that is all we have done our lives. For some, this is true, and their road becomes very difficult. Just like anyone else we life-long members must become personally converted. My road has been tough, because I haven't always been sure of my beliefs. Through many years of heart-felt prayers and being the witness of many miracles, I now truly enjoy going to church. I constantly look to Jesus Christ for love, because I know he lives. I look to the Holy Spirit for regular guidance, because I find my life to be much easier and happier from those gentle promptings. I can't deny what I know to be true, and I can't wait for the day when I will live eternally with my family in everlasting happiness.

How I live my faith

It may seem like living in a community where almost everyone goes to the same church means you don't have to worry about being an example. No one is perfect, however. By being an example to my friends and family, I am helping them live the gospel everyday. In turn, these people have done the same for me. I always try really hard to always be positive and show my true self, because I know this how Christ lived his life. One thing I do a lot in my congregation is help with the music. I am an organist and a chorister for the various times we sing in our meetings.
