Hi I'm Ali

Hi there!(: My name is Ali! I'm an optimistic opera singer from Kenai Alaska!(: and I'm a Mormon.(:

About Me

My name is Alison (I go by Ali(: ) and I'm an optimist at heart and an opera/ broadway singer with the dream of singing in the city of my dreams, New York City!(: I've won many vocal competitions and singing is my passion and my confidence booster, I sing as much as I breathe hehe!(: I'm also a makeup artist and if I can't be a performer I'm going to do cosmetology.(: I also love hairstyling, drawing, playing guitar, tanning, confidence and uplifting those around me!(: I love to help others as much as I can, no matter what! I'm a very outgoing person and I often get carried away in conversations and I tend to daydream a lot. I believe that families are the most important thing in the whole wide world!(: I love little children (I'm a preschool teacher(: I teach them opera and music theory) and I will do anything for my students. I believe the most important time in a persons life is childhood, and I believe that being silly is also important for children.(: I also love optimism, I believe that seeing the best in life is beautiful.(:

Why I am a Mormon

It all started with the first bible verse I was introduced to: Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me". I was very insecure at the time and with just that one verse I was on the path toward building my faith. I became an optimist and I was always surrounded with the holy ghost, however one day that feeling disappeared and I felt lost.): but once I met with the missionaries I began to rebuild my faith in heavenly father, and I was later baptized into the church. This church has brought me so much happiness, it's almost hard to contain.(: I've met so many wonderful people who've helped improve my life and understanding of living the gospel to the fullest and because of them I've gotten closer to my father in heaven. I have to say, becoming a Mormon is the best decision of my life, it's brought me so much confidence and love for myself that I never thought was possible, and knowing the holy ghost is always with you is wonderful too!!(: I believe fully this church is true because as said before, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.(:

How I live my faith

When I first got interviewed before my baptism, the Elder asked me what my covenant was to my heavenly father, and I replied: To be confident, to help everyone around me, and to be the best possible version of myself. I live my faith through that covenant and always will.(:

What is being a Mormon like?

Ali
Being a Mormon is such a wonderful feeling!! I remember one of my friends from another church said " Your Jesus is not my Jesus" but that's not true at all!!(: Mormons are 100% Christian, we read the bible, partake in the sacrament and believe Jesus Christ is the son of The Lord. The book of Mormon is an extra testament of Jesus Christ, and I think most people get confused about Mormonism because the don't understand entirely that Mormons are Christian.(: Show more Show less
