Hi I'm Kierstie

I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. I am currently serving a mission. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving a mission. I am the oldest of four. There are six of us in my family. I went to cosmetology school and graduated. In high school I was into sports; cross country, track and field, swimming and water polo. I even went to state for swim. I completed my young women medallion when I was 16 and I did it a second time and completed it when I was 17. I love to be in the mountains; hike, camp, star gazing. I also like to read and play games with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church. I have always lived the gospel the way I know The Lord would want me too. I have never doubted anything. I love going to the temple to do baptisms and then going through to get endowed. Enjoyed going to girls camp and participated in the different mutual activities. Going to church; Sunday school, primary, young women's. they are taught me who I am and where I came from. I know that Heavenly Father has a plan for each and everyone of His children. He loves us so much that He gave His only begotten Son to die for our sins. And I know that if we repent of our sins, He will forgive and forget. I know that families are eternal and essential to God's plan. I know that God lives and cares and loves us. I know that temples are amazing and beautiful and is a good way to serve The Lord. Say these things in the name of Jesus Christ amen

How I live my faith

During the summer of 2013, I had the opportunity to be a councilor up at Brighton girls camp. There I taught the 12-13 year olds how they are and what they can become. I taught them they are a daughter of their Heavenly Father who loves them. I am now currently serving in the young women's as an adviser to the beehives, who are in fact 12-13 years old. It's great to share my testimony every day while I was up at camp and now while I'm serving in young women's.
