Hi I'm David Norwick

I love reading, working on cars, and learning new things. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love mechanical things. I am a big fan of physics, and science, and learning how things work. I want to be a diesel mechanic when I grow up and start a family. I love books, motor sports, and the outdoors. I am from Stockholm Wisconsin but I am currently serving as a full time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the surrounding areas of Tempe Arizona.

Why I am a Mormon

Let me start out by saying that I love Christ. He gives me joy and I know that this is His restored church on the Earth today. I follow the gospel because I know of its truthfulness. I know we are on this Earth for a purpose and that we are greatly blessed to be here. I know that we have a Father in Heaven and that He loves us. I love this church and I know it is true.

How I live my faith

Jesus Christ has changed my life and I want to share that change with others. Because of this I chose to serve a two year mission for the Lord so that I could bring people the happiness I have received. To put it simply, I just want to make people happy.

Who are the Mormons?

David Norwick
Mormons are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which was organized in 1830. The Church headquarters in Salt Lake City Utah but has membership which is worldwide. We believe in modern day prophets and apostles. We also believe it is the same church that Jesus Christ established when He was on the Earth but has been restored through a prophet named Joseph Smith in the early 1800s (see http://www.mormon.org/beliefs/joseph-smith). The name Mormon is a nickname which derives from the Church's belief in the Book of Mormon which is ancient scripture comparable to the Bible which was recorded in the Americas during the same time the Bible was being written in the Old World (see http://www.mormon.org/beliefs/book-of-mormon).
