Hi I'm Kalei Scholl

I grew up in Montana. I'm about to embark on the greatest journey of being a missionary in the Philippines. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the second youngest of five with three brothers and one sister. While I was growing up my mom put me through all kinds of sports and dance lesson in search of my talent. We later on found that Track and Field was just that, my talent. Yet, I also enjoy cooking and being out an nature enjoying this wondrous world. After high school I attended the college of BYU-Idaho with an undecided major. However, with the opportunity to serve a mission earlier in my life, I decided to put my education on hold and serve the Lord. I have received my call to the Philippines and will be leaving in September.

Why I am a Mormon

As being born and raised into the church I have seen the immense blessings the gospel has brought to me and my family. Nothing else has brought me such joy and assurance as this Gospel has or ever will. Being able to know that I am a child of God and have a purpose in this life has been vital to me and knowing that this life is not the end gives me an undying hope. I am a Mormon because I know it's teachings are true and that it is the only way to have everlasting joy and to have a eternal family. Without our Savior, Jesus Christ, there would be no hope for anyone. He died for us that we might live.

How I live my faith

I was born into the church so the gospel has been a part of my life before I can even remember. With both of my parents being converts to the church I am fully indebted to those missionaries who taught them. I believe that I am living my faith as I made the choice to go out and serve a mission. Yet even before that I have been firm in living my faith. I know with a surety that nobody is perfect but also it is perfection that we all strive to be. Currently I am serving as Ward Missionary in my ward and go out with the Elders every Wednesday and Friday to teach lessons with them. I am also the Family Home Evening Coordinator for the Young Single Adults and have found so much joy in both of these callings.
