Hi I'm Katie

I'm a girl from the South, college student, art advocate, future teacher, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a Southern girl serving a mission is Utah of all places but I love where the Lord has called me to serve. I love laughing, reading, movies, cooking, and crafts. I love everything about art and about inspiring youth to express themselves and reach their potential. I plan on being a middle school or high school art teacher, I love seeing children with confidence and art is a great way for them to achieve this confidence. I love spending time with my family especially my nieces and nephews. I am the youngest of three children and I absolutely love my family. As the only girl, with two older brothers I learned how to rough it with the boys. I have wonderful parents who I know love me and would do anything to help me accomplish my goals. I am so grateful for a loving Heavenly Father who blesses and teaches me everyday. I love laughing, reading, movies, cooking, and crafts. I love spending time with my family especially my nieces and nephews.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of this church my entire life, both of my parents are members and on my father's side the track is much the same. My mother converted to the church when she was 18 and I thank Heavenly Father for that everyday. My parents have been wonderful examples to me but that is not why I am a Mormon. I'm a Mormon because I know this is the Lord's church. I know it because I have sought out the truth for myself, because I have felt the comfort of the Holy Ghost, because I have had prayers answered and because I have felt and seen the Savior's hand in my life. I know that I am loved by Heavenly Father and my Savior, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a mission for the church in the Salt Lake City South Mission!
