Hi I'm Natalie

I'm from Southern Nevada, I'm a student and soon-to-be missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Southern Nevada in a small town near Las Vegas. I have seven siblings, and I love to cook and play tennis, and I am not afraid to speak my mind. I play alto saxophone and I enjoy music of all kinds. I love books that make you think and movies that make you cry.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the Gospel makes me happy. I was raised in the church, and I know that when I am living the way Jesus Christ wants me to, I am happier. I decided to read the Book of Mormon on my own and pray to know for myself if it was true, and I felt a feeling of peace and warmth that let me know that the Book of Mormon was written by servants of God and that the words written could help give me the guidance I need to return to the presence of my Heavenly Father one day. I love my family, and I know that if I align my life with the teachings found in the Bible and the Book of Mormon, as well as the teachings given by modern day prophets and apostles, I will be able to live with my family forever.

How I live my faith

I try to give service wherever I can and to reach out to people that may be struggling. I occasionally substitute teach the younger children (ages 3-8) at Sunday meetings, and I have recently started teaching the 18-30 year old single women. I have found that you can learn just as much from the children as you can learn from the adults.

Are Mormons Christians?

Absolutely! Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and it is through His Atonement that we are able to repent and through his Resurrection that we are able to live again after this life. Our scripture testifies of Jesus Christ, and our leaders are called as special witnesses of Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
