Hi I'm Ryan Michael

I am a realistic idealist, a friend, and I’m a Mormon.

About Me

I love my family and friends. I have a number of personal interests, and I enjoy learning in several different forms. I am still relatively young in the “professional world”, but I have found that when it comes to an occupation most people strive to work on something that they are either good at, or what they are passionate about. Personally, I think the happiest people are those who can find something that combines the two. I am working to get to that intersection in my life and I have faith that it will happen. A wise person once told me “you have to be different to make a difference.” I am doing my best.

Why I am a Mormon

Several years ago I learned firsthand the power and blessings of the Atonement. It changed my life in very significant ways, and experiencing this transformation created within me a strong desire to help others also make their life better. Seven years ago, I left my home to serve as an LDS missionary in the Sierra Leone Freetown Mission in West Africa. The experiences that I had there made indelible impressions on my perspective of life and I don’t think a day has gone by where I haven’t thought about those lessons. Perhaps one of the greatest things that I have learned is that an individual can have a tremendous impact on others. I learned this not by how I have been able to benefit others, but how they have impacted me.

How I live my faith

I strive to live my life inspired to become a better person and to help others throughout the world also become better. I am a firm believer in the principles of personal empowerment and the application of knowledge as wisdom. I believe that the Gospel is truly manifested in the way we treat others, and that one of the greatest blessings of the Atonement is that it enables us to grow and realize our potential.
