Hi I'm Josh

Native Californian now living in Highland Utah. Husband to a great wife, Father to four amazing kids. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am your stereotypical family man. Simply trying to provide my wife and four children with opportunities to learn, serve and grow. Love biking, tennis, golf and skiing. Love seeing my kids play soccer and ride their horse. Love my job of business development for a national mortgage lender. Love living in Utah

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and my families lines are rooted in Mormon history. This has been a blessing in my life but like most Mormons I still had to find my own personal testimony of this Church and Gospel. Through prayer, a long repentance process, serving a mission and sixteen years of marriage I have learned the following simple truths that make me a Mormon: - We are all sons and daughters of a loving Heavenly Father. - Jesus Christ is the son of God, our Brother, Advocate and Savior. - Families are the foundation of our society and Parenthood gives us our Heavenly Fathers perspective. - Unconditional love between a husband and wife provides the perfect environment for children to grow. - We need Prophets, Joseph Smith was chosen at the perfect time and place in History to restore gospel. - The gospel of Jesus Christ is a perfect road map to happily attaining the most out of life and yourself. - Listen to the spirit and be constantly moving forward toward a good cause and the Lord will bless you. Simply put, this Religion just makes sense for anyone looking to find the meaning of this life. Knowing the answers to, "Who am I?", "Why am I here?" and "What is our purpose on this earth?" has given me the knowledge and direction I need to be the best Husband, Father, Son or Friend I can possibly be. It is not easy being a Mormon but without this gospel and its teachings pushing me everyday I would not have near the blessings I have in my life.

How I live my faith

Forget about myself and serve others to the best of my ability. Being consistently engaged in all my church meetings, praying, reading scriptures and thinking about others needs help me build my faith. Constantly reflecting on gospel principles and applying them to my life gives me the clarity I need to try and be more like the Savior. Knowing and understanding how far I am from His example gives me reason to serve my fellow man and family on daily basis.
