Hi I'm Patricia

I'm a convert to the church and I've been an LDS member since 2003 :)

About Me

I'm a convert to the church and I have been a member since 2003. I am now 33 and quite content to be a member of the church. I hadn't realised it had been TEN years already as I still feel like a Newbie and to be honest there's always something new to learn, so maybe every time I do attend church it is a bit like being a new member over and over again? Mmmmmm one to ponder.... :S

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to remain a member of this church because I believe in it. I didn't think I had a testimony of the church but it is just too true to be false. Really though, if you think about it, what fourteen year old boy in any era considers religion. All they really are interested in are girls and messing with their friends. No fourteen year old boy sits one day and thinks "Today I shall make up a religion and get everyone to believe in and lie for me and say they've seen things which they haven't." Teenage boys really don't let their imaginations go that far. I believe in this church because it's foundations are based on facts.

How I live my faith

I am an active member of the church. I attend most weeks and try to participate in some activities. I can't do them all the time as I am a single parent and find it hard to get out and then if I do bring my child with me it can get past their bedtime and upset our routine.
