Hi I'm Alyssa

I'm from Las Vegas. I love fashion. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Alyssa. I go to school where I study fashion retail management. I plan to one day own my own clothing store. I enjoy spending my free time sewing, spending time with my husband, baking, and watching movies. I find that I have a soft side for animals. Growing up I often brought strays home, anything from cats to dogs to mice to birds to butterflies to lizards! If it's tiny and cute, you'll always find me petting it, feeding it, or just loving it. The world is a beautiful place that I intend to discover and show my love towards.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I enjoy being happy! This church brings me happiness every single day of my life. It is so great to know of a loving Heavenly Father that I can speak with at any moment I please. I have grown up living the gospel the best that I can. Going to church each Sunday is the highlight of my week. All of the best moments in my life relate back to the church such as the day I was baptized and received the Holy Ghost as a constant companion to offer me protection and guidance, and the day I married my sweet husband in the temple whom I can now be with forever, even after death. I know this church to be true. I know of a loving Heavenly Father who knows each of us by name. I know Jesus Christ to be the Son of God and I know he atoned for my sins.

How I live my faith

The first calling of my adult life was to serve as the second counselor in the young women's program in the singles ward. I never thought I would love another calling as much as I loved this. When I got married and moved, I was called to teach the 10 year olds in my new ward. I now think the same; that I could never love a calling as much as this. The children teach me so much with their sweet spirits, their eagerness to learn, their thoughtful comments, and their beautiful singing voices.
