Hi I'm Kade

I have grown up working on our family farm. I am going on a LDS mission to Washington D.C. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of seven children. I like the outdoors: camping, rafting, hiking, etc. After going on a mission, I plan to go to college and major in Mechanical Engineering. I wrestled and played football in high school. I placed 3rd at the state wrestling tournament as a senior. I am an eagle scout.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in a family who attended the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I decided to be baptized and confirmed a member of the LDS faith because I believed in a Supreme Being and that he speaks to people today and called prophets just as He did hundreds of years ago to Moses, and Abraham. I believe that God is not a respecter of persons. He spoke to people in ancient times and he speaks to people now. In this day in age he appeared to Joseph Smith and called him as a prophet. Through Joseph Smith God restored the fulness of the truth about His Son Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ came to earth, showed us the way to live in hope and faith and atoned for our sins. We all make mistakes and Christ knows how to help us overcome them and become better. The standards he set have given me liberty and joy. Sometimes the fruit for following those standards takes time to appear, but it always will.

How I live my faith

I work to develop the best character I can and be the best I can. I believe in being honest, kind, loving, helpful, chaste, hardworking and self-reliant. Family is very important to me as well. At church I participate in the blessing, passing, and preparation of the bread and water or sacrament which is done in remembrance of Jesus Christ's atonement and resurrection.
