Hi I'm Jennifer

I have lived in Utah County my whole life and am currently serving in the Portland, Oregon mission.

About Me

I love everything about the outdoors! I've recently taken a huge interest in rock climbing and have added it to my list of hobbies. I also enjoy mountain biking, hiking, camping, skiing, scuba diving, and defensive handgun shooting. I love to serve others and will do anything to make others' happy. I'm currently serving in the Portland, Oregon mission and love being a representative of my Savior!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but took an interest early on to figure out for myself why I want to attend church weekly, participate in ward activities often, and hold true to the Gospel standards. Many events have happened that have truly touched my heart and changed me for the better. I went on a church history tour two summers ago called Heritage Tours. We were able to travel around the country, mostly up east where Liberty Jail, Nauvoo, and other significant church history spots are. It was on this 3-week tour that I truly felt converted to this Gospel and felt the Lord testifying to me of so many Gospel truths. It was at this point in my life that I felt deep love for my Savior and for Joseph Smith as I came to realize how much joy has come to my life through their hard work. I love my Savior so much and strive to keep a close relationship with Him. I am eternally grateful for the Atonement and for Christ's willingness to obey God and give the world the greatest gift of all. I have a deep testimony of the Atonement as I have used it repeatedly in my life. I have a real testimony of the prophet Joseph Smith and for all he endured to ensure the restoration of this Gospel. It is through him that I have had a true yearning to improve my relationship with my Savior. I have a strong testimony of the Book of Mormon and can honestly say that it is the best book I have ever read. It contains so many truths and testifies to me of every other aspect of the Gospel.

How I live my faith

I have learned that one of the best things I can do for those I interact with, is to live by example. I believe in letting others observe the standards I live by and figuring out for themselves what it is that makes me so happy.
