Hi I'm Jenna Henderson

I love smiling and laughing. I love to play sports, dance when no one is looking, and sing in my car. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have four older siblings making me the baby to our family of five. Giving me many years of torment from my older siblings has given me some pretty tough skin but a soft, loving heart. They are all my biggest heroes and role models and I love my family more than anything. I am a senior in college and my major is Public Health with and emphasis in Occupational/Environmental Health. After I receive my degree in Public Health I intend on going to Nursing school. My dream is that I can begin working in the ER and one day be coming part of Hospital admin. I love to serve people especially when I am serving them through an aspect of health. I LOVE sports especially basketball and softball. You can challenge me at any sport and I am competitive enough that I will make sure you earn each of your wins. I am a huge book worm. As a child my parents use to ground me from reading as a form of punishment, pathetic I know but if I find a good book it is hard to get my nose out of it.

Why I am a Mormon

Most people think that since both of my parents are members and I was raised in the Church that I had no choice regarding religion. But this is so wrong. I am a Mormon because God and Christ have blessed my life in so many ways and so many different times. One way God has blessed my life was by giving us a prophet today to give us modern revelation. I mean it only makes sense that a loving God would not only bless his people from the Bible with Prophets but also this era. Modern revelation is crucial in my life because this world and society as growing more and more dark and modern revelation sheds light upon my path. Another way God has blessed my life is by answering my prayers. When I was a young teen I prayed to know the truthfulness of this Church. He answered my prayers and I now know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the one and only true church upon this earth. I know with all my heart that if you pray to know of the truthfulness of this Church He will answer your prayers.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by always trying to make sure that one person in the corner has a friend. My faith has brought me an immense amount of happiness and I love sharing a laugh and this happiness with those who look like they need it the most. God has a deep love for everyone and my personal way of showing this love for his other children is by sharing a smile. I have felt His love and I want to share His word and love with all of his children, which is why I will serve a mission in Ecuador for the next 18 months. All I want to do is spread the Lord's gospel and His love to all of his children. Serving a mission is just another way I can show my devotion to His Church and to really live my faith.
