Hi I'm Patti

I grew up in Wilford, Idaho. I am the mother of 5 children and have 15 grandchildren that keep me busy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the mother of 5 and grandmother of 16. Family is the center of my life. I am married to a wonderful man, where we have shared our life together farming and ranching. I enjoy being physically active and especially enjoy outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, cross country skiing and picnics. I also enjoy reading, music, and theater. I love to learn new things.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and I continue to practice living the principles I have been taught. It is a lifestyle that I choose for myself. I have had many spiritual experiences that have helped me develop a love for my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I have also felt the Spirit of the Holy Ghost with me at times of happiness and discouragement. I know my Heavenly Father loves me, and I know that Jesus Christ died and atoned for my sins, as well as yours. In this troubled world today, I am so grateful for the peace that the gospel brings to me and my family. I am truly blessed.

How I live my faith

The gospel of Jesus Christ encourages service and obeying the laws of the land. Through the years I have been involved with school parent organizations and youth groups. I love to visit with people. When I have a blue day, I try to do something for someone else. Currently I teach 16 & 17 year old youth in our church services. I am also serving on The Planning & Zoning Commission of our county.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

We live our lives just like most people. We are hard working, law abiding, and charitable to others. We pray together and individually, study scriptures, and we attend church every Sunday to discuss gospel doctrine. We try to give service to others whenever possible. We abstain from alcohol, drugs and tobacco. We also give 10% of our earnings to the church to help further the work of our Heavenly Father's plan of happiness. We know there are great people all around the world who do not know of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and we want to add the joy we experience to enhance lives of others.
