Hi I'm Allison Lumsden

I grew up in California. I love playing volleyball and spending time with family and friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! My name is Alli. I am a college student who loves to play volleyball and enjoys spending time with my family and friends. I love being around people who make me laugh because laughing is one of my favorite things. I enjoy going to the beach, watching movies, swimming, and basically anything else i can do with the people i love. I just love being around other people and always love to have a friend by my side.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon my whole life and would not change it for anything in the world. I have seen the Lord's hand in my life through all of the blessings that He has given me and the people that i am surrounded by. I have felt His comfort throughout the good times and the bad times and I know that I am never alone. Being a Mormon has given me the knowledge to know how the Lord truly wants us to live and how happy we all can be if we follow the commandments and guidance that he has given us through the scriptures. I know that we have a living prophet on the earth today to guide and direct us because Heavenly Father would never leave us alone. I know that i can pray and that Heavenly Father will always be there to listen to me no matter how small my problem is. I am grateful for temples and the amount of peace and comfort i feel every time i go inside or even just look at them. Being a Mormon has shown me what it truly means to be happy and i am so grateful that i was born into a family with parents who taught me that and never fail to remind me of it. i am so grateful for the knowledge i have that i know for a fact i will be able to live with my family forever. even after death. Being a Mormon has given me great confidence in knowing that i am a daughter of God and i know that it is such a blessing to be apart of this faith. i know it, i live it, i love it!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church every sunday and try my best to attend institute and family home evening activities each week. I just got called to serve in the Relief Society presidency where I am excited to serve and be there for the other girls in my singles ward. I try to keep a close relationship with my Heavenly Father by reading my scriptures and saying my prayers daily. I try my best to always do the right thing so that i can be a good example to the people around me.
