Hi I'm Sam

I'm a runner, a father, a husband, an engineer, an entrepreneur, and a Mormon.

About Me

I am the father of two perfect boys. I have an amazing wife. I am a runner. I'm lucky to live close to plenty of mountain trails and run those as often as I can. I find that I am often spiritually strengthened by spending time out in nature on those mountain trails. I love to listen to music and feel that spirituality is found in almost all types of music. I gradated in April 2013 with an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and an M.B.A.

Why I am a Mormon

At a few points in my life, I've had spiritual experiences so tender and personal that confirmed to me the truth of the Gospel. Even if I stray from time to time, I can never forget these experiences. I also have the lives of my parents, grandparents, and several other generations to look to. I have seen how much the gospel has blessed their lives. While I don't understand every aspect of the Gospel, the portions I do understand seem to fit perfectly with everything I know and feel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be the very best husband and father I can be. I feel that my responsibilities to my wife and kids are some of the most important that I have. I regularly visit a few members of my ward, just to make sure they are taken care of and to leave them with a small spiritual message. I also make an effort to help the people around me. To me, this is another of my most important responsibilities, to lift and support those around me.
