Hi I'm Brook

I'm from a family of farmers and ranchers. I grew up working hard and long. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 19 years old and have moved at least ten times in the course of my life. I'm from a family of seven, my mom, dad and four brothers. My two older brothers went on a mission for two years, and haven't seen each other in four years. I won't see the brother next to me for three in a half years. I went to a year to college, and my major is Special Education. I love to play the piano, organ and violin. I also sing, sew, crochet, knit, bike, hike, swim, horseback riding and love to work hard.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a Mormon, but there was many opportunities for me to forsake my birth. There was alot of times in my life that it would have been easier for me not to be a Mormon. Whether it was at school or in my community, I was either left out or mocked because I'm a Mormon. But I knew that this Church is true. I saw the differences between my life and the people that mocked or ignored me. I realized that I was alot happier because of my beliefs. I prayed alot during the latter end of my high school year. My relationship with God grew strong and my knowledge of the truthfullness of the Church grew with it. My family is strong in the church, especially my Dad. My Dad is such a great example for me. He was one of the reasons I knew the Church to be true. Dad is a no-nonsense kind of person, and if he knew with all his being that this is the restored Church, then I knew too, and the Holy Ghost confirmed it in my heart.

How I live my faith

I'm a missionary in the Florida Jacksonville Mission. I played the piano for the congregation and for our meeting for woman. I love to play and sing church hymns.
