Hi I'm Jordan Coleman

I grew up with 9 older sisters. I rebuild motorcycles. I went to school in Hawaii and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I have lived with 9 older sisters since the age of 6. I come from a blended family and I wouldn't have it any other way. I credit the Gospel of Jesus Christ as the sole reason why, after divorice and remarriage, my family has managed to find lasting happiness and grow stronger. Only through Christ has my Mother and step Mother, Father and step Father remained friends. My Dad is a convert to the church and my mother was his gateway to the restored gospel. My mother used to dress and bring my 5 blood sisters to church every sunday. Shortly before I was born my Father read a book titled Jesus The Christ and confidently decided he would like to be Baptised by the restored Priesthood Authority of God. Being raised with such a strong family and such a complete gospel has blessed my life beyond description on this short profile. I loved scouting and earned the rank of eagle just before I turned 18. I grew up in Southern California at the base of the mountains. I've been skiing since the age of 6 and boated the Lakes in the summer. I've played Soccer ever since I can remember. I was planning on playing for BYU Hawaii until I tore my ACL and Meniscus in my left knee. I love traveling this beautiful planet and meeting people from all the differing walks of life. There is such a wealth in people. I also love building things and rebuilding machines. I recently rebuilt a 1973 honda motorcycle and now have a 1995 944 Ducati. I'm a big fan of projects. My biggest one being myself.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because when I read the Book of Mormon I feel illuminated. When I attend church I feel spiritually fed. When I listen to the Prophet and Apostles I get more answers than questions. And most of all I'm a mormon because this is Christ church restored in full to the earth by a prophet of God. Because of this gospel I am able to pray to my Heavenly Father and know that he loves me and I can recieve guidance in this life.

How I live my faith

I have a great passion for sharing this Gospel with all who will listen. The blessings I've experienced were intended for everyone to experience and enjoy. I feel it a duty to at least provide the opportunity. I've loved home teaching and can say I have a great testimony of the power in home teaching. Because of the love and devotion of home teachers around the world people are loved and cared for. Because of the love of two home teachers in particular my father was able to see the importance of the church for his family. I am currently a full time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints serving in the Georgia Atlanta North Mission. I have the opportunity to share this wonderful gospel everyday with complete strangers. Its the best! I get to tell people about the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and how they can be with there family for an eternity. Not just "till death do you part". My favorite is getting asked ridiculious questions about our faith. As a recipiant of such rich blessings who am I to with hold said blessings from others by not sharing my testimony.

To what do you attribute the growth of the Church?

Jordan Coleman
Because This gospel is true and complete which means you get answers not more questions. You feel something in your heart that confirms the truth of it unto you. Mormons live what they are taught. Not saying we are perfect ,but we don't believe in just being chistian when its convenient. The point of this life is to progress and become something more. The Gospel of Jesus Christ was never promised to be easy to live or laid back to practice. We are not earning our way to heaven here, we are practicing to feel comfortable when we get there. Pray in sincerity and you'll know exactley why this church is growing so rapidly. Show more Show less
