Fishing and hiking and Riding Fourwheelers! Always a fun time! My goal is to go Skydiving sometime after my mission!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church. However this is not why i am a Mormon today. My story: During high school there was a point when I didn't believe anything that my parents were telling me. I didn't believe there was a God, it just didn't make sense to me. For many years i continued that way just not believing anything but still going to church and reading and praying because i was told to do so. When time was nearing to decide weather or not to go on a mission i wasn't sure if i wanted to go, in fact i didn't want to go. I didn't want to share about something that i didn't even believe in, not only that but you couldn't go till you were nineteen. I didn't want to have to wait for a year after high school before I could go on a mission. So my mother and my bishop challenged me to start reading and praying to know if it was true. I told them I was reading and that I wasn't receiving any answers to my prayers. (I wasn't praying with any true intent) Finally one night my family was out of town and I decided that I really needed to know for myself if the church was true or not and if I should go on a mission, so I prayed about it with sincere desire and received the answer that it is true through the holy ghost. I also knew that God was real and I couldn't deny the things I had felt. Then the next day was General conference when they announced the age change for missionaries. I knew without a shadow of a doubt at that point that I needed to go on a mission and I know that this church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is God's true church on the earth today.

How I live my faith

I'm leaving for a different state to teach others about my church.
