Hi I'm Cameron

I play music. I love the outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music. I play several different instruments and I enjoy listening to several different genres of music. I was a part of a Nation-known marching band, and was blessed enough to lead it. I also love the outdoors. I have grown up in the Boy Scouts of America and have always love camping. I love to be in the mountains, go fishing, and observe nature. On the flip side of the outdoors, I have played baseball since I was just a toddler. I mostly played infield ranging from third base to catcher, but I enjoyed any position I am currently a Missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I will soon be serving in the Korea Seoul South Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents both grew up Mormon, therefore following their example I didn't know any better than to join the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. But, I still had the choice to join and I found out for myself that it is the true church. The only church with the proper authority of our Heavenly Father. At the age of accountability (Eight years old), I chose to be baptized. I was cleansed from my sin, and I renew the promises that I made at that time each week. Each week we partake of the sacrament and I am again clean from my sins because Christ's sacrifice that he made. No one is perfect, an I certainly fall under that category. I have made previous mistakes, and I went about the process of repentance to be clean from those sins. The ultimate reason I do not want sin in my life is so I can live with my Heavenly Father once again, and no unclean thing can live with God. I live each day to be the best that I can so that I might be able to reach my ultimate goal of eternal life with Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

Being recently a youth, I was a part of Young Men's. I was a part of each quorum: Deacon, Teacher, and Priest. Of these quorums, I was a Deacon's quorum President, a Teacher's quorum president and the first assistant in the Priest quorum. With those callings, I was able to better strengthen the youth of our ward. With help from our leaders and each other, we would make sure everyone was staying out of trouble. We invited many to come to our fun activities we would hold. Another calling I received was a Ward Missionary. With this calling, I was able to work with the missionaries in our area to help bring others unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel. Not only did we work with those that were in this category, but I also worked with our ward mission leader helping him with those that were struggling with the gospel in their lives. Now, you might think "why is it a big deal if someone falls away from the gospel?" Sure it is their own choice, we all have our own agency (freedom to choose good from evil), but we want them to remember that they are loved by their ward and by Heavenly Father. And Heavenly Father wants all people to be a part of the gospel of Jesus Christ. At the current time, I am living my faith and fulfilling the call to serve. I am a missionary for the LDS church. I love it. Our purpose it to "Invite others to come unto Christ."
