Hi I'm Mark

I grew up in a small turkey-farming community in Utah, I'm serving a mission in the Wisconsin Milwaukee Mission, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of eight children. I grew up in the beautiful state of Utah. I recently graduated from high school and I plan to attend college after I serve a mission. I enjoy drawing, baking, stargazing, playing the piano, spending time with my family and friends, and taking pictures of the beautiful landscapes the world has to offer. I also like to try new things. I am now serving as a missionary for my Church in Wisconsin, and I love it!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon and I love it! I grew up in a family that was, and thankfully still is, very strong in the church. When I turned eight years old, I was baptized as a member of the church. My parents, brothers, and sisters were all (and still are) excellent examples for me to follow. They helped me progress in the church and in life by teaching me the principles of the gospel and by helping me set good values to live by. My life is greatly blessed by living the commandments. Whenever I have sinned, I have found that I am not happy. But through the Atonement of Jesus Christ I can be forgiven of my sins and cleansed from them. Living the gospel of Jesus Christ is the only way to find true happiness in life. I know that this is the true church of Jesus Christ on the earth. I have studied the Book of Mormon and the Bible and have prayed to know the truth. I know with every fiber of my being that the Book of Mormon is true! I know that God loves each and every one of us. I can feel His love for me each day as I strive to be the best person I can be.

How I live my faith

The way that I live my faith is by following the example that Jesus Christ set and striving to be more like Him. This can be achieved by doing the small and simple things in life. For example, I share a warm smile and friendly "hello" with people that I meet. It's amazing what a smile can do! I try to show my gratitude to everyone that has done anything for me, no matter how big or small their help was. I attend church each week, and teach principles of the gospel to a couple of families in their homes. Service is central to living my faith; I enjoy lending a helping hand to those that need it. I try to leave people feeling better off than when I found them.
