Hi I'm Cameron

I was born and raised in a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia. I go to school at BYU studying accounting. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Currently, I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints serving in Samara, Russia. I come from a family of 7 boys. Born and raised in GA, I love the south! Being outside, whether its playing sports or working in the yard, is one of my favorite things - especially when it involves quality time with my family. After my mission I plan on finising college and pursuing a career in accounting.

Why I am a Mormon

Born and raised Mormon, I relied on the faith of others until around highschool when I really questioned what I believed. I knew that if there was a God that created me he would love me. I knew if I prayed he would answer my prayer. I remember it clearly, I was backpacking up in the Blue Ridge Mountains when I decided I would pray. It felt right because it was peaceful. I can't imagine a better place to talk with God than out in nature among his creations. The night was warm and the stars were very bright and vivid. I was laying in my hammock reading the scriptures. As I layed there, I closed my eyes and whispered a simple prayer asking if there was a God and if his gospel was true. Immediately I felt an overwhelming peace and assurance. It was an indescribable feeling that I knew could only come from God. I cannot describe the feeling completely but I know that you can have the same experience that I did. You can know for yourself if you pray sincerely with an earnest desire to know the truth. James 1:5

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church on sundays and volunteering my time by serving in positions that benefit the other church members. I help organize and participate in events and functions.
