Hi I'm Miriam

From Barcelona, Spain. Law student. Called to serve a mission in Salt Lake City-Temple Square. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Barcelona, the place where I grew up. At the age of 6 I started my first piano lessons. I always loved music and I studied piano until I finished the Professional Grade. At the same time, when I finished High School I started to study Law in the University of Barcelona. I love to travel and discover other places and cultures around the world, specially if I do it with my family! I'm currently serving as a full time missionary for the Church in the Salt Lake City- Temple Square mission, and I was transfer to the Texas Houston South mission for 3 months. I love both experiences and having the opportunity to serve as a representative of the Lord has been the greatest blessing of my life!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this Church is true. I know this is The Gospel of Jesus Christ, and I know The Book of Mormon is the word of God. I know all these things because I prayed and I received my answer. But that's not something that came automatically, I had to study diligently as well as sincerely pray until I received my answer. I felt in my heart that these things are true, and my testimony has been always growing since that. I know with all my heart that the Gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored and that this is his Church. The Gospel of Jesus Christ brings happiness to my life. And makes my family happy as well. I feel how the Lord listens to our prayers, and how He is always by our side. I follow His gospel because I know that one day I'll live with Him again and with my family. There's not a better blessing than the knowledge that we can be together as families forever.

How I live my faith

When i was born my parents where already members of the Church. I always participated in everything I could at Church. My first calling was "ward pianist". Then I was called as teacher, Young Single Adults president, ward missionary, choir pianist... I enjoy every one of my callings, all of them have something to teach me. But living my is faith is not something that I do exclusively on Sunday. During the week I keep nourishing my faith through scripture study and daily prayer. The scriptures have the power to uplift me and help me feel closer to Our Heavenly Father. I love the Book of Mormon! I always find the strength and guidance that I need in my life. I find on it the hope and peace that my soul needs as well as the answers to my questions.
