Hi I'm Michael Martin

I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. I love to read and serve. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the oldest of three children. I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. I'm a heating and air conditioning service technician. I love what I do for a living because I interact with many people throughout the day. I love to read.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it's the only religion that makes sense to me. I was born and raised Lutheran. All through life up to this point I felt as though I was missing something. I would go to church, take sacrament say my prayers and try to live the commandments. I was going through the motions. There was a void in my spiritual life. When I started dating my now wife, she introduced me to the Mormon faith. I am forever grateful that she did. When I was visited by the missionaries, life started to make sense. They taught me what was the purpose of man's existence, how can God be both just and merciful, what happens to out spirits at death, how can a person turn his weakness into strengths and many more answers that I had questions to. The act of service in the church is what I cherish. Everybody serves each other with love.

How I live my faith

I belong to the Logan Square Ward where I serve as the Ward clerk.
