Hi I'm Jane Zimet

I'm a hairstylist. I'm a make-up artist. I'm a fashionista. I'm a dreamer. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a daughter, sister, and auntie to the most amazing family. I LOVE to play tennis, and pretty much anything else active. I'm a cosmetologist by trade and think everythings better with lipstick on. I love to dance my way through life and there's no such thing as too much fun. I love to try new foods and experience new cultures.

Why I am a Mormon

God loves each of His children equally. I've had many occasions in my life when I was commanded by the Lord to take action and do something that was never in my plans. It has always been a greater blessing to me than the great "sacrafices" I thought i was making at the time. Through these experiences I know that God still speaks to His children and especially through a modern day Prophet, even Thomas S. Monson. The Restored gospel of Jesus Christ means everything to me. I feel honored to wear a name tag with the name of the Son of God over my heart every day.

How I live my faith

I'm currently serving as a full-time Missionary in New York, the best mission ever. My favorite thing is meeting people from all four corners of the world. I cherish my missionary schedule that involves waking up at 6:30 and excercising and preparing for the day then studying for 3 hours. I love going to church and being able to refuel my soul by being uplifted and enriched by others testimonies.

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

Jane Zimet
I stand firm in the knowledge that I am a daughter of God. He wants us all to return home to Him and that's only possible through obeying the commandments and using the infinite power of the Atonement of Jesus Christ. My greatest challenges are my greatest blessings. Although it's hard to see as we're passing through difficlut times in our lives our trials really are God's mercies in disguise. " There is no growth in the comfort zone and no comfort in the growth zone". This life is to be enjoyed and it's all about attitude. Show more Show less
