Hi I'm Brennen Hall

My name is Brennen Hall, I am a student leader, a political enthusiast, a Missionary, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I was raised old school, where you respect those older than you, do what your told, and try to be the very best you can be. These simple lessons that I learned at an early age along with reading about the prophets of old in the bible, and learning about the teachings of Jesus in the Book of Mormon have helped me to become the man I am today. My name is Brennen, I am 18 years old and recently graduated high school. I live in a small rural town, and am very involved in my community. I have a strong passion to serve others, and patriotism runs deep in my roots. Since a young age I have had a desire to be someone, I was the 2nd grade kid leading the crusade against mean 6th graders who stole our sand toys. Now that I am older I have helped lead different organizations including being a Committee Chairman for The Arizona Governor's Youth Commission and being Student Body President at my high school. I plan to get a degree in Business Management and Marketing and a minor in Political Science, but first I have some other things to take care of. I am currently serving, a 24 month Mormon mission in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and love getting out and teaching about the blessings of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon, because the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints are true and simple. The core beliefs that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon, that through the Atonement of Jesus Christ all men can live with God again, and that families can be together forever, give my life a purpose. The spirit of The Lord has testified to me that this is Christ's Church restored on the earth today. I am thankful for the way I have been blessed by the teachings of His church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be the best I can. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has some pretty high standards especially for the young men and women in it. Going through high school there have been times where I have struggled with our strict code to not partake of alcohol or tobacco, and even times where my moral standards of abstaining from unchaste behavior have been tested, but through it all I have been blessed. It seems like when you are Mormon everyone knows who you are, sometimes they don't know anything else but the fact the you are a member of the Church. People think that because I try to have high standards I am weird or crazy, but honestly I don't think that there is anything wrong with trying to be a good person. That is why I do my best to live my faith by standing up for what I believe in, and always giving it my all to be an example. People know who I am and where I stand, and the older I have gotten, the more people have started to respect my beliefs, and even grow interested in the reasons behind my standards.
