Hi I'm Calli

I grew up in Colorado. I enjoy outdoor activities. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy hiking, fishing, horseback riding, and golfing. I like being outside and spend most of my day doing outdoor activities. I am a college student and collegiate golfer, which had been an amazing experience and opportunity. I have decided to put that all on pause to serve as a missionary for the LDS church.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I can feel of the truthfulness of this church. By keeping the commandments and teachings of Jesus Christ I have learned that I have a personal relationship with him through prayer and scripture study. I grew up as a member of this church and continue to learn, grow, and have a knowledge of this Gospel through the feelings I have felt. It makes me so happy and full of joy. I love the gospel and the feelings I get when attending church and being obedient to His teachings. I know that this Church is true because I have prayed and found out for myself. I know that I am a daughter of God and that he loves me. I know that Joseph Smith helped restore the true Gospel of Jesus Christ and that the Book of Mormon is true. I know the Prophets help lead and guide the church today and that Thomas S. Monson is a true Prophet of God. I love this church and am so grateful for it in my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through having high morals and standards while attending church and developing and strengthening my personal relationship with my Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ. At church I have taught class to new members of the church and investigators. I also currently enjoy teaching four years old kids in Sunday school. It has truly been a blessing to see these kids grow, learn, and touch my heart through their sweet spirits. Helping out at church and in the community has provided great experiences and feelings of closeness to my Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ. As I serve a mission soon I look forward to more memories and strengthening experiences through serving those I teach and have the privilege of helping.
