Hi I'm Christian

I was raised in Ecuador, served as a missionary in Washington state and I am currently studying at BYU. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student at Brigham Young University, my major is Electrical Engineering. I have always loved science and technology, fixing things, trying to solve problems and so forth. That's the reason why I decided my career, which I find challenging but very interesting. I love traveling and learning new things about the world. Among other things, I love movies, cooking and playing sports.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because have received a confirmation from God that this is His Church. I have seen His hand leading it, leading my life and leading the lives of the people around me. It is hard to explain in words how it all works, but I know that God lives and that He loves each one of us. He knows us personally and wants us to learn and progress in this limited time on Earth. I guess that the best way to describe the feelings that I have felt about the church are peace and love.

How I live my faith

I have participated in my local congregations in different assignments. One of the best experiences I had was to serve the youth of my ward. We had lots of fun and learn together things that strengthened our faith. We went camping and played sports, shared stories and did group activities; all of these things helped me develop a greater love for Jesus Christ and for my neighbor. I also had the opportunity to serve as a full time missionary for the LDS church in the state of Washington for two years. This was a wonderful experience to serve others and to learn about Christ. I cherish every lesson I learned and every friendship I made during those years of service.
