Hi I'm Rachel

I am a student. I am a volunteer. I am a sister. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I just graduated from high school and am about to start college. I am really excited to begin the rest of my life, and I hope to be able to help other people in everything that I do. I love to travel and learn about culture. My family and my faith are very big parts of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I know that it is God's church. I know that the president of this church, Thomas S. Monson, is the mouthpiece of God. I know that by living the principles that I learn in this church, I can achieve happiness in this life and in the life to come.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to follow Christ's example. I actively participate in LDS church events and activities. I like to help teach the children's church classes. I support my parents as they serve the members in our community.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

I believe that all things bear witness of God. Our very existence and the creations around us are the work of His hands, and I do not put them to chance. He is the Supreme Creator, but He also created me. He is mindful of me, specifically and personally. He answers prayers that are honest and faithful. I see it in how He blesses me, how He responds to my needs. I know there is a God because I know I am His. Show more Show less
