Hi I'm Emily

I am a missionary serving in Korea. I studied at Brigham Young University. I am a violinist. I love teaching. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Busan, Korea. I am from Kansas, but was recently attending Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. I also have a brother serving as a missionary in the Nebraska Omaha Mission. I play the violin, love to teach, and love learning.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon, because I love Jesus Christ. I have gained a strong assurance that He lives, loves us, and wants to help us be happy. I know that He leads the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and that as I follow His teachings, I will one day be able to return to my Heavenly Father. This understanding makes me happy.

How I live my faith

While I lived in Kansas, I served in my church congregation as a music chorister. While at BYU, I served as a councilor in the Women's organization, the Relief Society. I loved getting to know the girls I served. Now, I live my faith by volunteering eighteen months to teach people about Jesus Christ.
