Hi I'm Elyssa Staker

I am from Pinedale, Wyoming. I am Hearing-Impaired with a hearing aid and a cochlear Implant. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am from Pinedale, Wyoming. I love Fly Fishing, Camping, Hiking and pretty much anything to do with the Great outdoors. I am a Veterinary Technician, and I love animals. I graduated from Brigham Young University of Idaho in Veterinary Technology. I am happy to say that I am Hearing-Impaired. I have been blessed with a cochlear Implant and a Hearing-Aid.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a very active family. So the gospel has always been a part of my life. I have never had a doubt about the gospel. I don't know where I would be without the fullness of the true church and the great plan of happiness. This is my source of happiness and I hope that I can help others find that same happiness. It has blessed my life in so many ways unimaginable. I would not be able to get through my trials if I couldn't rely on someone. We are never alone. Heavenly Father is always there and I know He loves me. I know that my prayers are answered, and your prayers can be answered too.

How I live my faith

At church I serve as a Relief Society Teacher, I have been able to learn about other sisters in my ward and about the trials they have gone through. By knowing this, I learn about better ways I can serve the people in my ward and in the community. I try to be an example to all those I am around. I learn from trials that I go through in my life and trials that other people go through. These things strengthen me and help me to have the courage to push forward.
