Hi I'm Meg

I grew up in Salt Lake City.I'm surrounded by those I love. I am a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love reading and camping, hiking and fishing, and Broadway musicals. I enjoy spending time with my family and I love going to school and learning as much as I can! I live in a very welcoming and joyful home with parents that love me and my sisters dearly. I enjoy baking (when I don't burn it) and listening to music. I love experiencing other cultures, whether it be trying new food or watching traditional dances. I think the world is a beautiful place with wonderful people, and I love learning more about the things people practice and enjoy.

Why I am a Mormon

I have had the extraordinary blessing of growing up in a gospel-oriented home. Because the gospel has always been a part of my life, I have been blessed in many ways, and I have had many examples in my life to look up to so that I can continue to shape my life around the example of the Savior's. This gospel is the most amazing thing in the world, and brings only happiness and comfort in a time when true happiness and comfort seem hidden from view. I know that because of the gospel, I have a mission on this earth to prepare to meet my Heavenly Father, and the gospel is the only way that can help me achieve that. Jesus Christ is my best friend, and I know that He lives and loves me, even when I make mistakes. He watches over me, and wants me to return to live in glory with him. I've chosen to be a Mormon because I know it's the only path that will lead to eternal life and joy!

How I live my faith

I have had many opportunity throughout my life to serve in different callings. I have had the opportunity to serve as class president in our Young Womens' youth program, which helped me stay close to the savior during my pre-teen and teenage years. Now, I have a call to serve a mission in Mexico. For me, there isn't a better way to live my faith than serving 18 months to share the gospel to people who need the Savior's light in their lives.
