Hi I'm Melanie

I am a student, I am headed to Russia. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm an average American teenage girl. I've played piano for 13 years, I am the organist for my ward, and I occasionally play the flute. I love history, and I love to do family history work. I am going to college, but I'm not sure what I want to do yet. I love to read. I love my friends and family, and I'm trying to do what is right. I'm currently serving a mission in the Russia Rostov-na-Donu mission, and I couldn't be more excited. I love this gospel and the happiness it brings me, and I want to share it.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, and my family have been members for over a century. I grew up being taught by my peers and loved ones that this church and the principles it teaches is what will help me be happy. I have embraced that to the core, and even though I had moments where my faith was weak, I have always known that I loved this church and what it teaches. I choose to be a Mormon because it makes me happy.

How I live my faith

I was the organist for my ward, so I played all the music every Sunday. It was a unique way for me to share my testimony of our church to those in the congregation. I love it, and it has really helped me grow. I have also made the decision to serve a mission for our church, and I cannot wait to teach others about the happiness I receive from this gospel.
