Hi I'm Amanda Rueckert

I'm from Baltimore, Maryland. I'm currently serving as a missionary in the Georgia Atlanta North mission!

About Me

I was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. I enjoy swimming, good seafood, laughing, music, fashion, and spending time with my family. I'm currently a missionary in the Georgia Atlanta North Mission! I love being a missionary and sharing my love for the Savior with people every day.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a Mormon my whole life, and I honestly wouldn't have it any other way. I have faith in the love of my Savior and the blessings he has in store for every last one of us. I love having the assurance that I can be with my family forever through Heavenly Father's amazing plan for us. I can't even explain how how much I love having this gospel in my life. I've felt Heavenly Father's love for me and I have a testimony that Jesus Christ lives and loves each one of us. He died on the cross for us so that we could live again. This gospel brings us so many amazing blessings and I love sharing them with others. I want others to feel the way I feel about Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, and to be able to feel the love and happiness that I feel every day. He created this plan for all of us, and He wants all of us to pray to him and feel his love so that He can help us through our struggles in this life.

How I live my faith

As a missionary, I have the opportunity to share the restored gospel of Jesus Christ with everyone I meet, and teach them how it can bless their lives! I invite them to follow the example of Jesus Christ and exercise faith in him.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Amanda Rueckert
We, as Mormons, believe that families are forever, not just in this life. We believe that Jesus Christ gave his disciples the power to seal families to be together forever and we continue to do that in this life as well. We don't use the phrase "till death do we part" in wedding ceremonies, because of our sacred ordinances done in one of God's holy temples that seal a husband and wife together for all eternity as well as their children so they can be an eternal family.
