Hi I'm Stephen Wayne Nelson

I grew up in California, I love school and sports, I'm on a mission in Tampa Florida, and I'm a mormon.

About Me

In high school I played football and baseball, and have played almost every other sport! I was also a Student Body Officer for my school and loved being a part of everything! I sang in choir and participated in a couple of clubs! I grew up in California and loved every part of it! My friends and I (members of the church and non members) loved to hang out, play sports and I keep close contact with all of them still!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I feel happy and confident all the time. When hard things come into my life, I know where to go. I'm a normal person, I live my life and enjoy things that other people enjoy like movies and sports, but i avoid things that would hurt me. By avoiding drugs, or alcohol or offensive language I am happier and safer. It is hard but I see the blessings that come of it! I invite anyone who reads this to try and find out what this means I promise that you will not regret it!

How I live my faith

I am currently on a mission in Tampa Florida, I spend every day trying to find people to talk to and to teach about Jesus Christ and help them come closer to him and to God. I love it and every day I see God's hand in my life. I go to church every Sunday and try to find people to come with me.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Stephen Wayne Nelson
In order to see our Father in Heaven again, we must have no sin or unclean thing a part of us. We must be completely clean and, like him, perfect. We cannot acheive perfection here on earth, only through Christ can we reach God. Christ is the advocate or bridge to him. I can't wait to see both the Savior Jesus Christ, and God the Father again.
