Hi I'm Victoria, Lionetti

I grew up in California. I love to play a variety of sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love sports! In high school, I played volleyball, tennis, basketball, and softball. Tennis and basketball are my favorite sports. I also enjoy playing ultimate frisbee and soccer with friends. I like to play card games, board games, and video-games with my family. I like to watch tv shows and movies. I'm attending BYU. I love this school. BYU has great professors and intramural sports. I'm taking a break from school to go serve a mission. I'm quite excited! Its going to be so much more than I've imagined.

Why I am a Mormon

I'd like to share my testimony with you guys that I truly believe that this is true church. And it feels so right every time I attend church and read the scriptures. I believe that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and restored the gospel. I believe that when Jesus Christ was crucified and then his apostles were murdered, Christ's church that he set up on the earth slowly dwindled away and was lost. Joseph Smith when he was young inquired on what church was the true church just like many of us have wondered on truth. Joseph Smith wasn't very educated so it makes sense to me that God helped him to translate the Book of Mormon. Joseph Smith couldn't have written the Book of Mormon himself and had so many connections to the Bible. And I believe that the Book of Mormon is the word of God because I have prayed about it to know for myself. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. Its wonderful to know that if I live righteously and endure to then end I can live with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I believe in prayer and it is so real. I'm so thankful for the Holy Ghost. I can feel the Holy Ghost comforting me in hard times. I can't deny my feelings when I attend church or the temple. These feelings are just so wonderful. I love this church and I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to do my best in church callings. At BYU, my church calling was home evening leader. I helped plan out activities and distribute who in my group is going to give the lesson. My home evening group met every Monday at 7pm. It was fun! I also live my faith by reading the scriptures and praying daily. I attend church every Sunday and go to the temple when I can.
