Hi I'm Jillian Kristine

I am a hair stylist, wife and mom. I love doing hair, being outdoors, and playing patty-cake and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the wife of a gamer and the mother of a vibrant 3 year old son and a beautiful 2 month old girl. I just finished cosmetology school and will probably get into a salon within the year... Its not easy to think about going back to work and leaving my two kiddos but I love doing hair and am excited to get back to it. My perfect day would consist of jumping waves and building sandcastles on the beach with my family while someone else cooked our meals, cleaned our house and paid our bills. But since I don't see that happening anytime soon, I'll settle for our trips to the splash pad, pretend super hero battles, and epic pillow fights that inevitably turn into family snuggle time in mom and dad's bed--yeah, that sounds pretty perfect to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a member of the church, since I was born. But I have had my own challenges that tested my testimony and faith in the gospel. From silly peer pressures to loosing my mom and two of my sisters in a car accident at the age of 11, I have definitely struggled. But through all of my struggle, through all of the darkness, no matter how dark it got, there was always this light. Sometimes it was brighter than the sun and sometimes it was barely visible, but it was always there. His light, comforting me and warming my soul. No matter what was thrown at me, I couldn't loose the truth because it was just that, true. And who can deny the truth. This gospel is true. I know it. I've struggled, I've succeeded, I've survived and through it all, I knew that the church was true.

How I live my faith

In my church, I am one of the leaders for a girls youth group for girls ages 8-12. I plan and participate in service projects and other activities to help the girls develop their talents and set and reach their goals.
