Hi I'm Jackson Moroni Ward

I love having fun with my family and friends. I enjoy: all kinds of sports, being outdoors, music, and longboarding. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Morgan Utah. I enjoy running, playing soccer, Longboarding, boating, swimming, hiking, and camping. In the winter I enjoy snowboarding and watching movies. I'm the oldest in a family of seven and graduated from high school a while ago. I love music and going to concerts. I am currently serving a Mission for the LDS Church In Milwaukee, Wisconsin and the surounding areas. When I return I plan on going to school at Utah State University and Majoring in Civil Engineering. The best times in my life have been spent with my Family, we love spending time together and going hiking, on vacation, or just hanging out around the house.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was born my parents were of the Mormon faith, I grew up and saw how blessed my home was as my parents lived my the teachings of the church. When I was eight years old I knew that the church was true and decided to be baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have attended church worship services every Sunday and have learned about our Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ and of the Holy Ghost. I know that there is a God in Heaven who Sent His Son Jesus Christ to earth to teach us and to Atone for our sins. I know that families can live together forever with God and Christ. I know that Joseph Smith Saw God the Father and Jesus Christ. I know that Joseph translated the Book of Mormon and it is meant to accompany the Bible as another testement of Jesus Christ. I know that Joseph organized and restored Christs church today. I know that we have a current Prophet on the earth today at the head of the church, Thomas S Monson, who recieves inspiration from God. I know that we can talk to God through prayer and if we pray in the name of Jesus Christ that we can recieve personal revelation and direction. I know that God loves all of us and that this is His church.

How I live my faith

I attend Church meetings every Sunday, In my congregation I have the chance to lead Hymns for the congregation. In the past I have had the opprotunity to participate in the youth leadership of the church and plan weekly activities for other youth members of the congregation. I was paired with my Bishop and we visisted a families in the congregation once a month to share the words of the prophet and also serve them if needed. My religion shapes the way I live my life and influences the decisions I make, I have many friends that are in my congregation that I have grown up with and learned with. Currently I am serving a mission in Milwaukee Wisconsin where I have the chance to share the things that I have learned with others and help everyone build faith in Jesus Christ.
