Hi I'm Talem Franco

I grew up in Utah. I'm going to serve The Lord as a missionary in Papeete Tahiti. I have a big family. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town. I played sports all the time while I was growing up and now I get to run Track and Cross Country in college for the BYU Cougars. I love the Gospel and the impact it has been in my life. I love to read and to learn new things. I constantly want to learn more knowledge about things as they were, are, and are to come. I had a brother that had passed away recently. It felt terrible, to put it in light words, but I know that through the Plan of Salvation, I can see my brother again.

Why I am a Mormon

As I grew up being a Mormon, I took things for granted. Though I participate and went to Church every Sunday and went to Young Men's activity throughout the week. I never really got much out of it. It was only when my brother past away right in front of me that the Holy Spirit began to change my life. I thrusted myself into the doctrines and principles of the Church; I wanted to know why my brother died and if I could see him again. I found out with joy, that he passed away because it was his time. Our Heavenly Father needed him to continue his work in bringing everyone to this happiness and I could see him again; as long as I was obedient to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel and followed the Holy Spirit in helping and strengthening me as I go throughout this life.

How I live my faith

I love to participate in Church. I am serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Tahiti Papeete Mission.
