Hi I'm Hannah

I'm a spontaneous, life-loving friend to all. I've been called to serve Gods children In Colorado. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like shopping, being in the sun and helping others. I love quotes, movies, makeup, marathon running and volleyball. In high school I was in a program called Service Corps. that changes my life. I haven't started college. But after that I want to start a non profit charity organization that helps women and children in domestic violence, travel with Doctors to developing countries offering free clinics or continue on to law school.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I need guidance, hope, support and especially happiness and peace in my life. Although I've made mistakes I know that through the Atonement of Christ I can return to live with God as well as all of my loved ones again. Families are forever. That is important to me and knowing how that is a part of Gods plan for me makes me feel forever grateful. I want to make correct choices and be blessed by my Heavenly Father for trying to be like my Savior Jesus Christ and I know that I have and will continue to be blessed for doing so. I am grateful for the commandments given to us because they don't restrict me, they bless me when I follow them. My favorite scripture is from the bible. 1 John 4:8 "He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love." I want to be like the Lord and do my best to love my brothers and sisters. When I do so I draw closer to God. I am grateful for other members in the church, for the support and friendships I have with them. When life gets hard I know that not only can I pray to Heavenly Father for comfort or think of my brother Jesus Christ who has already suffered for me but I can turn to other members for help. Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints makes me become a better person everyday. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

I've been preparing to serve a mission in Colorado Springs by attending various mission preparation classes, studying the scriptures and serving others. I help plan social and learning activities for women in my ward. I visit teach and attend church.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

The typical Mormon lifestyle is not too different from any other teenage/young adult lifestyle. We like to play sports, shop, listen to music, hang out with friends, go to movies etc too. We don't drink alcohol or smoke or have sex before marriage though. My day would consist of: Waking up around 10:00 and saying a prayer. Checking emails, pinning things on Pinterest, connecting with family and friends on Facebook. Getting ready for the day and heading off to work. Coming home from work and spending time with family or friends. Maybe going shopping or on a date. On Sundays I attend church and through out the week we have fun activities to go to.
