Hi I'm Nick Wallace

I grew up in Gilbert, Arizona. I'm an athlete and a musician. I'm a fisherman. I'm bilingual. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am second oldest of five kids in my family. I have two brothers and two sisters. Growing up my family played a lot of music, sports, and enjoyed the outdoors. Through High school I played the trumpet in Jazz Band and currently play in a local swing band that performs at different restaurants and venues. I played four years on the High School's basketball team, and still enjoy playing today. After graduating High School I worked in Alaska as a commercial salmon fisherman, and with my earnings I was able to pay for a portion of my mission. I served a full-time mission with the spanish speaking people in Utah. I am currently studying abroad in Jerusalem. My declared major is mechanical engineering because I love math and physics.

Why I am a Mormon

I had a moment in my life where I questioned what I really believed. I questioned if I really thought there was a God, or if Jesus Christ was the Savior of mankind, or if The Church of Jesus Christ really was the true church. My questions were answered as I read the book of Mormon and prayed. The transformation of my life was undeniable as soon as I let God work on me through that book. I was happier as I studied it on a consistent basis. My questions were answered. I felt like my life gained direction and I experienced an increase of self control. I had powerful personal experiences in which God made it clear to me that He lived, that He loved me, that Jesus Christ was my Savior, that the Book of Mormon was true, and that The Church of Jesus Christ was the only true and living church on the earth.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith through service. I feel one of the most important things we have in this life, and one of the few things we will take with us to the next, are the relationships we develop with those around us. We develop those relationships, and grow closer to God as we love and serve those around us. I believe everything I have comes from God, and as I share what I have received with others, I am showing my gratitude to my Savior.
