Hi I'm Julie

I'm a missionary serving in South Carolina. Laughing is my hobby. I love my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello! I'm Julie, now known as Sister Stanley! I'm 19 years young. Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. I was blessed to grow up with the gospel in my house. Both of my parents are Mormon and live the gospel standards. They have taught me from day one that this church is true and i know without a shout of a doubt it is! I'm the last of nine children. I have 4 brothers and 4 sisters. I currently have 18 nieces and nephews and 1 on the way! You could say that family means everything to me! I'm not too scared to try new things. My hobby would have to be cleaning & organizing! "Cleanliness is next to Godliness!" I love any outdoor activity but if i had to narrow it down i would say soccer is my favorite! I absolutely adore the beauty of the earth. I feel lucky to be serving my mission in such a remarkable place as South Carolina.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am i Mormon? Boy, i have got that question about a million times. The answer is always the same though. I am Mormon because i know this is my Heavenly Fathers true church brought back through a modern day prophet named Joesph Smith. I have prayed and earnestly studied the Book of Mormon and i feel the Holy Ghost testify to me that it is true. The gospel makes my life complete. Without it, i honestly don't know where i would be. It has taught me basic principles to get through my everyday life. It helps me see my potential and what i can become. It gives me hope and knowledge that one day i will live with my family for eternity. I find pure joy and happiness being a member of this church.

How I live my faith

I always say, "because i have been given much i too must give!" I'm taking 18 months out of my life to serve the Lord. I'm a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints. I'm serving in the South Carolina, Columbia Mission! (aka the best mission out there) This is the best decision i have ever made. I find that i am the most happy when i get to help my fellow brothers and sisters know there is a God out there and that he knows & loves them individually . You don't have to be a missionary to show your faith though. Before my mission i showed my faith by helping out my family, being an example, and a great friend. Though i'm not perfect, i strive to become like our Savior. Saying and doing the things that he would do if he were with me.
