Hi I'm Sarah Jane Meservy

I'm a missionary. I'm a dreamer. I'm a creator. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I could sit in a room by myself all day and I think my mind could entertain itself. Thinking about everything I've been through in my life, all the joy I've felt, the people I've loved, and the things I've learned. Or dreaming of what is in store for my future, and praying that I can be exactly who God wants me to be. I love serving others and making silly crafts. I will find any excuse to make cards, treats, and pictures for the people I love. I may not be that artistically gifted but I enjoy making things for my friends. Whether it is making a giraffe out of a pipe cleaner, writing a children's book, writing a song, or writing a simple note- It's my way of showing people that they are important to me. I think this passion stems from my desire to help everyone feel the Love of God the way that I've been blessed to feel it in my life. I know that everything that happens in this life is ultimately for our good. Ever since my mom died when I was nine years old I've had a burning desire to make her and my Heavenly Father proud- and I know that's what has shaped the way I've lived my life. I love my mom and I know that she has continued to raise me, making me who I am today. I know that everything happens for a reason, and I know that God is aware of every one of His children.

Why I am a Mormon

After my mom died I spent most of my time on my own, especially through middle school and high school. When I was home- I was usually in my room thinking, praying, drawing, singing, and studying my scriptures. This gave me a lot of time to grow, and a lot of time to get to know God. I was never alone. Heavenly Father let me know that He was there. I knew that Jesus Christ had felt every pain I experience. When I was aching for a mom to comfort me, my Savior was beside me to feel the pain with me. He understood. Throughout my life, God worked through my amazing family, and wonderful members of the church to show me the love I was aching to feel. I was never left alone. As I studied the Bible and the Book of Mormon daily, and as I prayed to feel God's love, the spirit taught me everything I needed to know. Since my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have never left me alone, no matter the difficulty, I cannot turn my back on them now. I owe them everything. God has given me the answer that His restored Gospel is on the earth today, and I will always stand by that truth because He has always stood by me.

How I live my faith

Charity. My faith lies in My Savior and how He lived His life. I love to love. If you exist, or have existed- I love you. I love my Savior, I love my Heavenly Father, and I love His children- and that, my friends, is how I live my faith.
